Each patty is packed with wholesome ingredients: Fullgreen’s Cauliflower & Broccoli Rice, mushrooms, garbanzo beans and fresh herbs. How you build your ultimate burger is entirely up to you. Add slices of juicy tomato, onion rings, melted cheese… maybe another burger...

Ingredients (For 4 Servings)
Veggie Burger Patties
1 x 7oz Pouch, Cauli Rice, Cauliflower & Broccoli
3 tbsp Gluten-free Flour
5oz Garbanzo Beans
4oz Chestnut Mushrooms
1 Large Onion (1/2 Diced, 1/2 Sliced)
1 Clove Garlic (Crushed)
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Handful Fresh Cilantro
2 tbsp Olive Oil (for the Patty Mix)
1 tbsp Olive Oil (for Frying)

How to make it
Sauté Onion and Garlic in a little Oil until soft
Clean and chop the Mushrooms. Then add to the Onion and Garlic and sauté for a further 5 minutes, until golden brown
In a food processor, blitz the Garbanzo Beans adding the Olive Oil as you go
Once coarsely chopped (not completely smooth!) remove from the food processor and set aside
Place the Onions, Garlic, Mushrooms & chopped Herbs into the food processor and pulse until the mushrooms have broken down into small pieces
Add the chopped Onions, Garlic and Mushrooms to the blitzed Chickpeas (season with Salt, Pepper and Cayenne to taste) and mix everything together
Take about 1/4 of the Mixture and shape with your hands into a Patty
Add a little Oil to a skillet and fry over a high heat
Cook each side of the patty for around 5 minutes, allowing the edges to brown

If you've made a healthier burger, why not resist adding unhealthy sides? Pop your vegetarian patty into a soft bun, with crunchy salad leaves, slices of juicy tomato and a little sauce. Serve with roasted carrot fries and have a chunky slaw.
